Yep, that's right... We spent our post-Christmas, pre-New Years week in the snowy twin cities. Random? Yes. Awesome? OH yes! Last year we went to Vegas, and since we both have the week off work we knew we wanted to do another random trip. One of our bucket list goals is to visit every one of the 50 states, so we thought we should knock out one here. Minnesota had several things going for it: the Mall of America, snow (although we ended up with more than our fair share in the south), the home to the Mighty Ducks, and FAMILY. Ok, so the last point was kind of the clincher. We hadn't seen my Aunt Anne, cousin Lisa and her fam since our wedding, and this was the perfect opportunity to rectify that! Lisa and her cool husband Bruce have had 2 sweet babies since we last saw them, and it was so fun to meet their new family. Will and baby Greta (Louise! Yay!) are ADORABLE (which is no shocker, look at their parents!) and so fun. We also did experience the Mall of America and we went snow tubing.
