Lawson is {9 months}

Weight- 18 lbs. 11 oz.
Height- 28.5 in.

This was a BIG month for you, little boy. When I look at pictures of you from last month I don't think you look very different, but boy are you. We're having so much fun with you in our family!

Lawson, at NINE months (3/4 of a year!!) you:
  • are EVERYWHERE! You started crawling while we were at the beach and you haven't stopped. Seriously. I can't imagine having a child who isn't mischievous like you and Crawford.  As soon as you could move you tried to find things to get into (outlets, cords, stuck under tables).
  • the first day of your ninth month (5/22) you got yourself into a sitting position in the crib, so we immediately lowered it. Thank goodness we did because it wasn't long after (6/6) that you started pulling to standing - on everything. What?! You're going to be walking in no time, I just know it. Child, you can climb up the step into the kitchen!!
  • are often injured. Due to all of this newfound mobility, you've got quite a collection of bumps and bruises. I know it goes with the territory, but it's still no fun.
  • put every, every, everything in your mouth. It's hard to play outside with you because you crawl around and put all the sticks/rocks/mulch/bugs in your mouth and pitch a temper tantrum when I shovel them out. That's no fun. Plus, scraped knees.
  • give sweet (whole face grabbing/sucking) kisses!
  • have one tiny little tooth on the bottom left. I noticed it on 6/7 and it still isn't all the way in yet. I guess you're going to be a sloooow teether like Crawford.
  • love peek a boo, standing up. mommy, Crawford's cars and trains (much to his dismay) and sleeping on your belly.
  • had salmonella. Yes. Salmonella. I guess technically you still have it. We endured two long weeks of diarrhea pretty much around the clock (yep, that means you were waking up again... this time I couldn't blame you). We aren't sure where you got it because none of the rest of us got sick. The first day you had it was so, so sad. Your fever got scary high and you were just totally lethargic. You literally slept all day and it was like you were narcoleptic. You wouldn't let me put you down, and I didn't want to!
Be warned. This post has a TONNN of pictures! We took our family trip to the beach during this month, and it was a blast. So much work, but SOOO much fun with you boys! I want to document every little thing. Oh, and you're ridiculously cute and photogenic, so there's that :) (And they are very out of order... oh well)

Daddy had to change your diaper on the airplane!

You gave us all kinds of trouble going to bed at the beach, but Daddy didn't mind one bit :).

You pooped out of your diaper on our last day at the beach, so we went the redneck route :). You ate so much sand that week...

You and Miller at Ella's birthday party

You love taking baths with Crawford now! (except when you have salmonella and can't...)

You get lots of these head hugs from Crawford.

the first time you pulled to standing

salmonella.

One day after work Daddy met us at the play trail on the river!

While you were getting two baking soda baths a day, Crawford got lots of iPad time...
