Eve is {4 months}

Height- 23.5 inches
Weight- 12 lbs. 1 oz.

Beevie Lou,
I'm so sorry for your horrible nickname. But it is totally happening. We all call you Beeve now! At four months old (1/3 of the way to ONE, as Daddy reminds me) you:

  • rolled over today! You went from belly to back, and it was like as soon as you did it once you wanted to practice over and over again. And then you almost all the way rolled from back to belly.
  • are seriously sooo good and laid back. You fall asleep wherever you are. You hardly ever cry.
  • hang out a lot at the pool, which is made much easier because of my last point. I keep a bouncy seat for you in the closet at the pool, and you hang out with Julie Saunders (or anyone else I hand you off to) whenever possible. Have I mentioned you ARE THE BEST??
  • take a bottle without issue. The boys didn't very often, so this is nice!
  • all of a sudden look JUST like Crawford. At first when you were born, everyone said you looked like Lawson, but now there's no denying Crawford.
  • "love to be vertical. The jumperoo, exersaucer and bumbo are our friends. You still love to stand." - This is a quote from Crawford's 4 month blog post, and it is 100% true for you too.
  • get embarrassingly few baths. So sorry.
  • chew on your hands and fingers all the time. You're also super drooly.
  • wear size 2 diapers and mostly 0-3/3mo clothes.
  • nap so well. About 1-1.5 hours after you wake up, I just lay you in the rock and play (shoved half in our closet) and you doze off. I have to make sure you're dressed for wherever we're going (usually the pool), because I always have to wake you up for us to leave. You usually sleep while we're out, then after we get home and the boys go down for naps you sleep too. Naps in the rock and play are awesome.
  • have awesome blue eyes. While I was pregnant I hoped you would have dark hair like C and blue eyes like L. So far, so good!
  • are still on Zantac for reflux but just twice a day now. I kept forgetting to give you the middle-of-the-day dose, and you seemed fine so I just stopped it. Your barf is worse some days than others, but it never bothers you so it seems to be working.
  • are adored by your brothers. And also, they ignore you a lot which isn't a bad thing.
  • are absolutely THE CUTEST AND BEST BABY IN THE WORLD.
A few things about me:
  • I pump every morning to give Leslie milk for baby Seth. I average 5-6oz/day.
  • Since running out of my placenta pills (right before we left for the beach), I started getting really bad headaches. We think they are hormonal because of the pills, but it has been super annoying. Dr. Brody gave me pain meds and they help, so I just hope they go away completely.
