Lawson is {5 months}

Already! Wow. This one really caught me off guard!

Weight- 15lbs. (we actually went to the dr, so I know this is accurate!)
Height- 26.5 inches (total guess)

Lawson, at FIVE months old you:
  • have the softest cheeks ever. I love kissing them!
  • look so handsome in yellow (and I am usually very oblivious to stuff like this).
  • have breath that smells totally different than Crawford's (that's probably a good thing…)
  • love your lovey, and you smash it on your face when you sleep to make me a crazy person.
  • are so much bigger than Crawford was at this age. You're wearing clothes (6-9mo) that he wore at 9 months old! The seasons just may work out perfectly for his hand-me-downs :)
  • sleep best on your stomach, but then I'm up all night checking on you.
  • still nap in your crib in the room with Crawford, which is so fun. I stay close by though because when your paci falls out I have to race in to give it back to you or you'll cry and wake Crawford up :(.
  • still sleep in our room, and I think I've just resigned myself to the fact that you will until you can put your own paci in your mouth.
  • have been dubbed "Wasie Woo" (sp?) by your big brother (because we so often call you Lawsie Lou).
  • drool and spit up like a mad man.
  • aren't ready to sit up by yourself (which I know is fine, but I think about it constantly because I know other 5 month olds who can! ugh. comparison really is the thief of joy.)
  • can roll from front to back and back to front (we've seen you do it!), but you don't. You really hate being on your belly.
  • love playing with your feet, your play gym, sitting in the bumbo and exersaucer.
  • especially love being held ;)
  • went swimming for the first time, and though you weren't sure about it at first, you warmed up and had fun!
  • are chatty and smiley.
  • don't mind baths one bit (I think I've forgotten to mention this in the past). You've never cried during one.
  • have the prettiest blue eyes. We think they are here to stay :)
