Lawson, a one month old, you:
- have a typically cranky time from 4-6pm.
- like to be held a lot.
- sleep in the rock and play at nighttime and like the nap nanny a lot during the day.
- spit up a ton. Not sure what that's all about... it doesn't seem to bother you, but man it's a mess. We've been giving you gas drops after nursing and that seems to help sometimes.
- nurse usually 2x a night and about every 3 hours during the day. Sometimes I have to wake you up to feed you during the day, but in the evenings you are starting to cluster feed.
- are noisy! You grunt and groan so loudly.
- have very blue eyes (that we hope are permanent!).
- had a cold last week that kept me up literally all night one night monitoring your breathing. I took you to the dr first thing the next morning (I'm so paranoid about pneumonia!) to confirm that it was just a cold.
- poop in every single diaper. The dr said its probably the antibiotics you were on still working their way out of your system.
- have a strong grip. You get a handful of my shirt or hair (yikes), and I have a hard time getting it away from you.
- don't love your car seat some of the time, but otherwise are very easy going and laid back.
- JUST lost your belly button stump a couple days ago
- have dry flaky skin, baby acne and the softest head of hair.
- would probably sleep for days on your belly... If only we could let you!
- are kind of a mommy's boy. I'm ok with that :)
Everyone always says this, but we agree that we couldn't imagine our lives without you!
